Charming atmosphere and comfy stay
We spent one night in a Deluxe King Room, and wow, everything was great! The room was super comfy with an amazing four-poster bed. Dave, the innkeeper, was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the huge fountain outside and the peaceful vibe. Just wish the grounds were a bit more spruced up, but still totally worth it!

The Deluxe King Room was a dream! The king-sized bed was super comfy, perfect for a restful night's sleep. I loved the charming decor and the vaulted ceiling that added elegance. The breakfast was delicious with excellent homemade options.
The lighting in the parlor could be brighter for evening activities.

Had an amazing time with friends! We visited a nearby historical site and a local winery, both super fun. The atmosphere was charming, and breakfast was top-notch. Just a heads-up, the parlor lighting isn’t bright for games at night, but it's cozy. Definitely recommend for a group getaway!
The lighting in the parlor was not bright enough for us to play cards at night.

The buttermilk pancakes and that out-of-this-world avocado toast were a total revelation! The location is just a hop away from downtown Hammond, making it easy to explore local spots like The Real Deal An American Kitchen and Cate Street Seafood, both just a stone's throw away. Plus, our room was cozy with charming decor that added to the ambiance.
I wasn't too happy with the owner's customer service skills during my check-in. A little clarity on the arrival process would’ve saved me some headaches, especially when I found a hair in my breakfast. The disorganization at breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The beautifully adorned Deluxe King Room offered a comfortable stay with lovely furnishings and a very nice bathroom. The breakfast featured a delightful mix, including eggs and sausage, that set us up for the day. The upstairs balcony was a perfect evening retreat, overlooking the fountain with charming views. However, the absence of explored historical elements left us yearning for more context about the property’s past. Service from the staff was kind but limited due to the brief stay.
